8th pick this year (colts pick originally) cards 1st and 2nd next year.
i accept.
colts gain 2 first round picks lose a stud QB once again.

you dont - its a gamble. The NFL does it all the time.... I would assume that one side trades a future draft pick, with the other assuming the risk that it will be in a position of value. I have never heard of two teams trading future draft picks from the same round. But I guess crazier things have happened....

It makes no sense Austin is a new addition and the first pick in last year's draft.
