1st Season
1)Post trade blocks and start working as a GM.
2)Cut any players that you want to. Remember there are roster minimums that you have to keep at each position.
3)Only 1 Round of Free Agency will occur in Season 1.
After free agency ends you will have about 24 hours to get your roster in order(You can now sign any free agents you want without bidding on them) and finalize any trades that have occurred.(NO Free Agents are allowed to be traded in the same year they are signed until that offseason)
To start the each season you will have to be at full roster capacity of 53 players. The NFL does this and so will we.
4)The entire regular season will be simmed to the playoffs and wild card games should start to be scheduled. Teams that have not made the playoffs can begin trading now, keep in mind that overalls will change after the advance to the off-season so trade now at your own risk.
5)After the SUPER BOWL is over you must cut a minimum of 9 players and list those players in the appropriate section. This is to have a better free agency class and you must cut a minimum of 7 for the draft any ways.
Make sure you cut the players after the SUPER BOWL and the League has advanced to the off-season to avoid players retiring early.
6)After your players are Cut you may begin bidding on free agents.
You CANNOT cut players right before the Free Agency period ends and bid on them for lower caps. You will be severely punished with cap increases to some players on your team.
2nd Season and on
1)The Draft will occur.
2 )Shortly after the draft (1 minute to 2 hours) the 1st round of free agency will end.
3)Update Trade blocks with new overalls and Rookies.(NO Free Agents are allowed to be traded in the same year they are signed until that offseason)
4)The second round of free agency will begin and run for about 24 hours.
5)Trading will stop and you are now allowed to sign any free agents to get to the 56-man roster requirement.
6)The entire regular season will be simmed to the playoffs and wild card games should start to be scheduled. Teams that have not made the playoffs can begin trading now, keep in mind that overalls will change after the advance to the off-season so trade now at your own risk
